To strengthen our team, we are looking for a person in our Service Administratif at Geneva Airport (Cointrin) – GVA.

The opportunities awaiting you :

We are looking for a Resource Planning Specialist who demonstrates genuine curiosity about the future of workforce and equipment planning — someone who sees analytics, automation, and optimization as everyday tools to erform this role even more effectively.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply optimization methods to develop plans, analyze impacts, and interpret scenarios, thereby supporting the management team in decision-making to serve our airline customers in an innovative and cost-efficient way.

Your responsibilities:

- Establish, analyze, and publish monthly and weekly rosters for the services under your responsibility, in accordance with existing processes, operational needs, company strategy, and client contracts (SLAs). Proactively adjust plans to reflect operational and seasonal changes.
- Assess qualifications and staffing levels by considering operational needs, business requirements, and constraints (training, absences) in order to define replacement needs and additional staffing requirements.
- Manage all activities related to workforce and equipment planning (demand planning, scheduling, allocation, forecasting), including participation in projects and providing analytical support during the budgeting process.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain short- and mid-term resource plans (staff and equipment) and schedules for the assigned scope in an innovative and cost-efficient way, aligned with business plans, strategy, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide analysis and proactively contribute to workforce and equipment forecasts. Establish a dynamic framework to compare planned needs with budgeted resources.
- Provide analysis, develop and interpret scenarios supporting management decision-making. Understand and promote KPIs and performance indicators (e.g., volumes, productivity, utilization).
- Assess the impact of changes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and ensure optimal implementation of updated rules and processes.
- Build and optimize operational resource schedules in compliance with established rules, legal requirements, and seasonal schedule changes.
- Ensure maximum utilization of existing resources while meeting required service levels and identify gaps in resource needs.
- Analyze staffing levels and assess resource requirements across departments, taking into account sick leave, absenteeism, training plans, and qualification constraints.
- Use operational feedback to recommend improvements to ways of working and processes.
- Participate in key company projects and provide analysis to drive performance improvement, harmonization, and process optimization.
- Perform necessary updates in IT systems and related administrative tasks, and support operational departments in understanding resource needs to ensure optimal coverage.
- Ensure optimal use of available tools, accuracy in data consolidation, and a professional and transparent reporting culture for key stakeholders.
- Promote a data-driven decision-making culture within dnata Switzerland.

Your profile :

- Professional experience: minimum of 2 years in analytics, resource planning, optimization, process improvement, or in aviation or a comparable field.
- Experience with resource management systems is an asset.
- Solid understanding of productivity drivers and performance indicators in the aviation and ground handling sector.
- Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- nterest and passion for aviation and data analysis.
- Ability to quickly understand new business concepts, as well as organizational challenges.
- Self-driven with a strong results orientation.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French — both written and spoken required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Very good command of IT tools, including Excel.
