Cargo is an important part of our and our airline customers’ operations. Thanks to our handlers and administrative agents, we provide a complete Cargo handling service.
Cargo department prepares freight and its transportation and loading into the aircrafts. Handlers accept cargo from freight forwarders according to certain predefined documents. Flights can be prepared in various ways: either in bulk, where the goods are deposited in tanks, or with pallets. In this particular case, the goods are placed and secured on pallets or in containers.
All goods destined for export are described and weighed to communicate the exact weight and necessary information to the Traffic Department staff. The handlers will then transport to and place the goods in the corresponding aircraft.
The administrative agents are responsible for processing the shipments on a dedicated computer system, drawing up manifests and specific documents for transport by plane or truck. It should be noted that for this function, it is essential to be proficient in English and have excellent computer skills.
