The aircraft cleaning department looks after the maintenance and preparation of the passenger cabin. The Cleaning Department is characterized by the diversity of airline standards, aircraft models and cleaning types. The activity is not only limited to cleaning tasks, but also to the control of equipment and stock of cleaning products, to the management and planning of teams, to the maintenance and driving of vehicles. The number of people per flight is defined according to various criteria such as the time available, the type of aircraft, the number of arriving passengers and others. It should be noted that the service does not deal with the external cleaning of the aircraft.
Specific activities related to a cleaning agent :
- Clean with the help of a vacuum
- Clean seats, armrests, screens with specific products
- Clean and disinfect/sanitise of common areas (WC, galleys etc.)
- Prepare the cabin (blankets, pillows etc.)
- Litter/Waste sorting and disposing
- Drive of transport vehicles on the tarmac
- Stock management
- Respect and ensure compliance with the safety, health and security regulations issued by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation, the airport, the authorities, the client companies and dnata's internal directives.
